- Based on an unusual fugue subject with a prominent augmented 2nd, this fugue is almost Mendelssohnian in tone.

- Divided in three sections, the first in common meter has a businesslike melody with a chord outline as its basis, it enters a 12/8 section via a
florid passage but the chord outline is still recognizable, and reverts to common meter and some fairly odd harmonies ending this set of six canzonas
with a measured trill. Registration by section: 1) Gedackt 8' + Rohrflöte 4' + Oktave 1'; 2) Gedackt 8' + Rohrflöte 4' + Quinte 1 1/3';
3) Gedackt 8' + Rohrflöte 4' + Prinzipal 2' + Quinte 1 1/3' + Oktave 1'. The reverberation of large occupied hall has been added.

- Begins in a stately manner, with running passages alternating between treble and bass. A sudden flurry of 32nd notes ending each of 5 measures stands
out amongst sixteenth and eighth note scalar passages and typical modulations with stylized cadences. Full organ with reverberation of a large
occupied hall.

- Nine variations on a beloved German chorale, known in English as "Jesus, all my gladness," revealing an engaging variety of moods and compositional
techniques, as well as showcasing a wide variety of organ combinations, including some based on 4 foot pitch. All but the ninth are played on the
manuals with an occasional pedal note at cadences. Reverberation of large occupied hall.
