Stiehr-Mockers, Eglise Protestante (1843/1986) (Extended Set) Samples by Joseph Basquin edited for Hauptwerk by Jonathan Orwig
- Bach, Johann Sebastian: Concerto in D minor (after Vivaldi), BWV 596
- A very energetic transcription of a Vivaldi concerto, with a restful middle movement. Arrangement of Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto Op. 3,
No. 11, RV565 or else Op. 12 by W.F. Bach. The variations in the arpeggios in the third movement were added to my performances years
ago. Fortunately, I wrote them in my personal score along with rather precise registration ideas. The movements are Allegro - Fugue - Largo e spiccato
- Allegro. Uses extended version. Impulse reverberation added.

HW1
- Karg-Elert, Sigfrid: O Welt, ich muß dich lassen, Op. 65, No. 21
- Subtitled "Canzone," a melody that is based on a chorale soars out on G.O. (Bourdon 16' + Montre 8' + Bourdon 8' + Salicional 8' + Flûte 4'),
with cradle-rocking 12/8 rhythm in the Positiv (Bourdon 8' + Prestant 4') and Pedal (Soubasse 16' + Flûte 8'). Impulse reverberation added.

HW1
- Buxtehude, Dietrich: Ein feste Burg ist Unser Gott, BuxWV 184
- Energy exudes from this heavily ornamented chorale setting. Here the Cornet separée of the Positiv is used in 9 different combinations, one for each
phrase of the Chorale. The technique is to leave out up to 3 pitches of the full 5-pitch Cornet sound to create interesting timbres, ending with the
full Cornet. Impulse reverberation added.

Midi file available.
HW1
- Bach, Johann Sebastian: Kyrie-Christe-Kyrie, BWV 672-674
- These short pieces are for one manual and they've been bundled together as they might be used in an actual Lutheran Mass of Bach's time. Registration:
all on G.O. The first Kyrie is played on Montre 8' + Flûte 4'; the Christe is played on Bourdon 8' + Flûte 4'; the second Kyrie is played
on Bourdon 8' + Flûte 4' + Doublette 2'. Impulse reverberation added.

Midi file available.
HW1
- Dupré, Marcel: Antiphon III, Opus 18, No. 3
- Restful and evocative prelude by an early 20th century French master. Solo is on G.O. Montre 8' + Salicionale 8'; accompaniment played one octave
lower on Positiv Expressif Prestant 4'; Pédale uses Soubasse 32' and 16' + Flûte 8. Impulse reverberation added.
[3:9]
HW1
- Dupré, Marcel: Ave Maris Stella III, Opus 18, No. 8
- Choral ornamented in the style of J. S. Bach. Positiv Hautbois 8'; G.O. Montre 8' + Salicional 8'; Pedal Soubasse 16' + Flûte 8'.
[1:24]
HW1
- Bach, Johann Sebastian: Fantasia in G Major, BWV 572
- A youthful piece of Bach in three distinct sections: 1) Light and cheerful arpeggios, using (in my version) echoes every measure; 2) Intense
rich harmonic progressions; 3) Heroic cadenzas in the manuals with pedal punctuation. Impulse reverberation added. Uses extended samples.
