Dupré, Marcel: Magnificat VI, Opus 18, No. 15Download View Lyrics
Brilliant arpeggios in the manual part with heroic pedal theme, ending with descending parallel marcato chords. Would make a great postlude. Registration: Hoofdwerk (all 8va lower): Rohrfluit 8' + Octaaf 4' + Octaaf 2' + Mixtuur 2-4 St. + Cimbel 4-6 St. + Trompet 8'; Rugpositif Holpijp 8' + Nasard 3' + Octaaf 2' coupled to Pedal Prestant 8' + Octaaf 4' + Bazuin 16' + Trombone 8'. Only once does the manual exceed the lower range, in which case it is moved to the Pedal. [2:10] (a=420 Hz) HW3.11
Krebs, Johann Ludwig: Fuga in C minor, Br II:10Download
Attractive and recognizable fugue subject divided into 4 perhaps arbitrary sections, depending on whether the pedal was at play or not, plus an extra loud coda. [5:50] (a=420 Hz) HW3.11
Couperin, François: Agnus Dei from Parish MassDownload
From Solemn Mass for use in Parishes, the registration was followed as closely as possible. Notes:
    • The second Couplet, Le même Agnus disposé autrement, is not played
    • Frame 1 is for Plein-chant de L'Agnus, with Plein jeu on the GT and a strong 8' reed in the double pedal.
    • Frame 2 is for [3rd] Couplet de L'Agnus Dei with GT full plenum, SW Cornet, CH Cromhorne et al, and 16-8-[4] PD to balance
    • Frame 3 alternates with Frame 2 and is identical in the manuals but may need a louder PD. (GT doubles as the CH with Frame 2 and as GT in Frame 3, the PD should balance both)
    • Frame 4 is for Deo Gratias (ending of the Mass), and uses a Petit Jeux on the CH and a moderate plenum on the PD.
    [5:47] (a=420 Hz)

Bach, Johann Sebastian: Allabreve in D Major, BWV 589Download
This piece is named after a time signature, known to popular musicians as Cut Time (a C with a vertical line through it). It is an early work, resembling a fugue. There is some doubt that it was composed by Bach. [4:6] (a=420 Hz) Midi File Available HW3.23
Buxtehude, Dietrich: Nun freut euch lieben Christen g'mein, BuxWV 210Download View Lyrics
This unusual setting sets forth two divisions against each other with various registration changes and echo effects along the way. They are united only at the end. [11:38] (a=420 Hz) HW3.11
Krebs, Johann Ludwig: Trio in C, Br II:21Download
Marked Lento, this bears all the unique marks of its creator - rhythmic diversity, a certain jauntiness and an ability to soar musically. Registration: RH Hoofdwerk Roerfluit 8' + Fluit 4' + Cornett 4 St., LH Rugwerk Holpijp 8' + Prestant 4' + Nasard 3' + Woodfluit 2'; Pedaal Subbas 16' + Holfluit 8' + Octaaf 4'. WAV file is available in ZIP format: here (21.9 MB). [3:19] (a=420 Hz) HW3.23
Bach, Johann Sebastian: Symphonia to Cantata 49, BWV 049aDownload View Lyrics
