The van Peteghem-organ of Haringe, Flandres (1778) - Samples by Hauptwerk.nl
- Buxtehude, Dietrich: Praeludium in G Major, BuxWV 147
- The score indicates the left hand for what would in similar pieces be a pedal cadenza followed by an organ point. A light-hearted short section
follows, ending with rapid eccentric scalar flourishes. The meat of the piece is a four-voice fughetta that brings to mind J. S. Bach's St. Anne
Fugue, but it ends with characteristic Buxtehude figuration and a final soprano flourish. Score provided by Boris Mudrinic. Temperament: Young.

HW3.11
- Froberger, J. J.: Canzona IV
- There are 4 basic sections. The first expounds the main melody - Positif Bourdon 8' + Fluit 4' + Nazart 2-2/3' + Doublet 2'. The second adds a
countermelody, both of which are sometimes inverted - G.O. Montre 8' + Fluit 4' + Fourniture 3 St.. The third, in 3/4 meter, embroiders the main theme
a bit, but it still has the upward chromatic motion - Positif replaces Fluit 4' with Prestant 4'. The fourth, in 12/8 meter, plays even more with the
melody, puttng the chromatic intervals a little off kilter, and there is a florid coda in common meter at the end - G.O. adds Nazart 2-2/3 + Quart
Nazart 2'. Kellner Temperament.

- Energy exudes from this heavily ornamented chorale setting. Here the Cornet separée of the Positiv is used in 9 different combinations, one for each
phrase of the Chorale. The technique is to leave out up to 3 pitches of the full 5-pitch Cornet sound to create interesting timbres. Temperament:
Ordinaire.

HW3.11
- Boehm, Georg: Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr
- A multi-sectional treatment which uses the pedal sometimes for the Chorale (with Trompet), sometimes not (without Trompet), and portions of extreme
ornamentation coexist with rather straightforward writing. The tempo variations may well have been only "suggestions" from the questionable Karl
Straube score (Edition Peters). Martinus Temperament.
