My composition teacher, Robert Linn, studied in France with Darius Milhaud. I'm pretty sure the assignment was to write something light and playful
for woodwinds in French style. There's not a German chorale or figured bass anywhere in sight! Three short movements: Moderato, Ostinato and Scherzo
for Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon.
