Short Prelude and Fugue in E minor, BWV 555 Click to Listen, [3:7]
The prelude is in a different meter than the fugue, and one of the performance challenges is to make that change immediately apparent even though the subject is slow-moving. Some important technical lessons are contained having to do with suspensions, chromaticism and parallel thirds played together in each hand. Instrument: Buzard Opus 3 (1986) - Samples by Brett Milan
