The chorale is rather obscure, as is its text. Comfort and reassurance seems to be the quiet goal of this little prelude. The Phantom Organist has
removed the Chorale from the top voice of the manual to a 4' Pedal register. From the Neumeister Chorale Collection.

Wenn dich Unglück thut greifen an
Und Unfall will seine Willen han,
So ruff zu Gott im Glauben fest,
In keiner Noth er dich verlässt.
English:
If you stumble on misfortune
and mishap has its way with you,
call on God with a firm belief,
that he will not ignore any of your needs.
