Also known as Gottes Sohn ist Kommen, which appear as the lyrics. The original Chorale is first sounded on a combination of Oboe, English Horn,
Clarinet and Bassoon. Then the prelude has been rearranged for Flute, English Horn, Bassoon with the Trombone used for the melody originally played on
the organ pedal division.

English:
Once He came in blessing,
