The interval of a descending minor third echos about on sounds that were made about 40 years before Kerll's birth (his dates are 1627-1693). The piano
edition from which this was transcribed has only this tempo instruction: "Molto." Most of the piece was played on RP Copol Major 8' + Copol Minor 4',
is also the echo of the louder HW Gedackt 8' + Octava 4'. Optional PD added: Subbas 16' + II/P coupler. At the end. just the two 8' flutes are used
with the Subbas 16' drawn in the midst of the last held note. The output volume was set higher than usual.
