Toccata Secunda et Fuga Click to Listen, [6:3] (Kirnberger II mod. , f(A3)=468 Hz)
Toccata begins and ends with held pedal notes (Subbass 16' + Octavbass 8'), but is basically for the Hauptwerk principal chorus (Principal 8' + Octav 4' + Quint 2 2/3' + Superoctav 2' + Mixtur 5 Fach, which adds an illusory 16' pitch). The fugue has two parts, the first played on the Positiv (Weit Principal 8' (*) + Salicet 4' (*) + Floete gedeckt 4' + Octav 2' + Quint 1 1/3'), the second on the Hauptwerk with Positiv coupled (Hauptwerk minus the 2 2/3'). When the pedal enters at the end, the Principalbass 16' and Gross Quinte 10 2/3' (*) are added, for an illusory 32'. (*) Additions from the extended set. Instrument: Johann Adam Ehrlich organ at Evangelische Stadtkirche / Bad Wimpfen, Germany (1748) - Samples by Gernot Wurst
