The chorale alternates between the Positiv Krummhorn and the Hauptwerk Concert Flute (with added Gamba and Gemshorn 8') and plays against appropriate
string combinations on the Schwell. Composer's instructions involve "lamentoso, lugubre and misterioso" and the organ definitely seems up to it.
