Trio en dialogue (4th Kyrie) Click to Listen, [3:19]
Beginning on Jeux doux (Hauptwerk Gemshorn 8' + Travers Flete 4'), the Positiv Holzkrummhorn 8' and Swell Cornet (Lieblich Gedackt 8' + Gems Horn 4' + Nasard 2 2/3 + Wald Flete 2' + Terz 1 3/5) alternate elegantly for a while, then the gentle pedal (Rohr Gedackt 8' coupled to Hauptwerk) enters and an impassioned dialogue between the two solo sounds ensues. Despite the "New Bach Temperament" Grigny introduces a great deal of dissonance by the notes and ornaments he combines. Instrument: Vladimir Grygar Organ at Church of the Holy Cross in Litomysl, Czech Republic (2001) - Samples by Jiri Zurek
