- Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan
[2:46] (A=465)
Two variations, the first quite clever on various flutes, the second in 3/2 meter with a quasi pedal in the left hand, two intertwining parts in the
right, and the Chorale sounded in the Pedal.

Generosity is the first victim of financial instability. But if you can, make a donaton;
it will help me to continue offering music for your enjoyment.
- Chorale Text
German:
Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan,
Es bleibt gerecht sein Wille;
Wie er fängt meine Sachen an,
Will ich ihm halten stille.
Er ist mein Gott,
Der in der Not
Mich wohl weiß zu erhalten;
Drum laß ich ihn nur walten.
English:
What God doth, that is rightly done,
His will is just forever;
Whatever course he sets my life,
I will trust him with calmness.
He is my God,
Who in distress
Knows well how to support me;
So I yield him all power.
