- Offertoire ou Communion in E minor
[4:32]
This dreamy piece has sections in E minor, E Major, E minor again, C Major (where the tempo becomes Poco animato ["a little animated"]) and a canon
between the soprano and bass voices is pursued, returning to E minor and then again to E Major. Speeded up from the Harmonium version, the
registration is based on a slightly undulating G.O. Bourdon 8' coupled to Pos Flûte à Cheminée 8' with many additions of the G.O.
Flûte 4' and Pos Flûte 2'. Dynamics through registration only, Impulse reverberation added.
