Gott ist mein Heil, mein Hilf und Trost,
mein hoffnung und mein vertrauen,
Der mich mit sein Blut hat erlost,
auf in Will ich fest bauen,
Denn ich hab all mein zuversicht
zum lieben Gott gericht,
denn er verlässt die seinen nicht.
English:
God is my Savior, my help and my comfort,
my hope and my trust.
Who has redeemed me with his blood,
because I have placed all my confidence
in the righteousness of my beloved God,
Who does not forsake His own.
