- Fugue in C minor, BWV 575
[4:28] (a=466 Hz)
This is an extremely playful early fugue of Bach. The subject is hesitant to proceed, but when all four measures are through, you pretty well know it
is a fugue subject. The adagio at the end just continues the surprises. Since this is registered for one manual and pedal, all multiple samples were
loaded. Werckmeister 3 Temperament. Registration: Hoofdwerk Prestant 8' + Octaaf 4 + Quint 3 + Octaaf 2 + Mixtuur 4-6 sterck. Trompet 8' is added much
later when Pedaal Bourdon 16' + Prestant 8' + Trompet 8' come in. Pedal cadenza at end adds Bazuin 16' + Octaaf 4' + Mixtuur 4-6 sterck + Cornet 2'.
