Two verses, the first a fughetta on the Hoofdwerk (Roerfluit 8' + Octaaf 4' + Octaaf 2'), the second arranged so that the Chorale is sounded on the
Rugwerk (Dulzian, repeated on Fluit Does 8' + Prestant 4' + Octaaf2' + Sexquialter 2 St., finishing with the Dulziaan) and the bass line is assumed by
the Pedaal (Bourdon 16' + Prestant 8'). Young Temperament.

Und laß dich's doch erbarmen!
Wie wenig sind der Heilgen dein,
Verlassen sind wir Armen;
Dein Wort man nicht läßt haben wahr,
Der Glaub ist auch verloschen gar
Bei allen Menschenkindern.
