- Prelude and Fugue on O Traurigkeit
[5:0] (a=426 Hz)
The prelude presents the chorale on a solo reed stop (SW Closed Horn 8') accompanied by a generally ascending triplet pattern (Great Claribel Flute
coupled to Pedal Bourdon 16'). A slight tug occurs when the duple and triple rhythms occur at the same time. The exquisite fugue is in three voices,
(GT Claribel 8' + Principal 4) with the chorale sounded slowly in the pedal (SW Closed Horn 8' coupled to PD Violoncello). Organ Silbermann
